Who Are We
We are Triplets with a passion for the climate. We first heard about Climate Change in School. We were 6 years old and have been going around litter picking for almost 3 years now. Our parents bought us books about the environment and recycling. We went out litter picking once every week. We contacted our local Council, we were provided with litter picking sticks and bags. As we went out litter picking, a few people saw it and gave positive comments, and it encouraged us. From one of our many books about recycling, we learnt, reducing plastic pollution can help slow down Climate Change. We were so keen to do this. BBC East Midlands interviewed us a few times. Today, we see many children of our age going litter picking. Our aim has always been to encourage and inspire more people. We have been nominated as One Step Greener Ambassadors for the UK for our work on the environment. When we met the UK prime minister, Mr Boris Johnson, on 28/10/2021 at 10 Downing Street, he explained 4 key areas we could look into helping, and one of them is Planting more trees. We have been on BBC Breakfast, BBC One Show to help encourage children of our age to do more for the planet. We have started planting more trees and aim at sensitising more people, through our website and social media platforms to do more to go one step Greener. If this is your first time to our page, please feel free to read more about what we do and visit our website for more of our climate friendly videos. We only have one planet.
Around the world, we associate individuals, schools, groups and nations. We are encouraging, individuals with vision, to become specialists for change.
